Iwrestledabearonce est un groupe de mathcore, formé en 2007 à Shreveport, en Louisiane.
Le groupe compose un EP éponyme en 2007 puis travaille sur un premier album. Iwrestledabearonce tourne avec des groupes tel que August Burns Red, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dance Gavin Dance, The Human Abstract, Blessthefall, Fact, Greeley Estates, Sea of Treachery, Enter Shikari, Winds of Plague, All Shall Perish, Vanna et Horse the Band.
La formation menée par la chanteuse Krysta Cameron, évolue dans un univers musical difficile à catégoriser, un mélange se situe entre le deathcore, le grindcore, le deathmetal et le mathématique.
